Good Monday morning!! Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend. I was busy cooking/baking this weekend to help create a more peaceful week. This is what I worked on first: ( And just for the record I still can't find my cookie jar and really don't want to buy a new one, still trying to figure out if husband relocated it in the garage when he was cleaning.)
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookies, YUMMY!!!!
and some amazing Nut Roll coffee cake
and the most amazing twice baked botatoes (disregard the baby nipple in the background)
So what's in your cookie jar this week?

Pot Roast and Recipe Link Party
My husband found this recipe from Mark's Daily Apple. It is supposed to be done in a pressure cooker, and he has made it that way. However, I thought.....hmmmm.....this would be yummy in a slow cooker with a pot roast! So I tried it. O......M......G...... fan-tab-u-lous! You have to try it! Doesn't it look Divine! The roast is tucked away under all that yummy goody-ness!

Wood Baby Wall Hanging
I saw this idea at a craft store about 18 months ago, and thought it would be totally cute for my newborns room (now 18months) and so much cheaper to make. So I made these wall hangings, and after much deliberation I decided to go ahead and sell them at our shop.
Simply made from a few pieces of wood, paint, vinyl and ribbon and you have a super cute decoration for your babies room!

just a few odds and ends
So I made some more memory boards! Yay! Now I know what your thinking......she already posted about memory boards.......yep, I did.....but these are a little different. I've been making them with picture frames, and if I do say so myself, I think they turned out pretty good!
They are also for sale at our shop Etsy. This first picture of the safari animals is for sale, but not on etsy. The frame is really heavy and would cost a arm and leg to ship. But it's the same price as the white framed one. And if your local (Tri Cities, WA).......well then it's for sale!
Thanks for looking! *******Candie*******

They are chocolate double chocolate chip, and no I couldn't find my cookie jar....either I have to look harder or maybe just purchase another one. I also made some Lemon Blossoms http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/paula-deen/lemon-blossoms-recipe/index.html
and they are TO-DIE-FOR, you should definately make some real soon!!! So what do you have in the cookie jar this week?

What's in the cookie jar?
Sooo, this is my first time posting by myself, yikes!! We'll see how it looks when I'm done, haha!!
I have a challenge for anyone thats up for it, hence the name of this post....Each week (Monday) we take time to share "what's in the cookie jar"(recipe & picture) that week. A tried & true receipe or a new one, either way we all have something exciting in our cookie jar for the week. I know my family is going to love me (at least for a few minutes each week) when that cookie jar is full!! Now all I have to do is go fish my cookie jar out of the garage and figure out what I'm going to bake!! And it doesn't have to always be cookies, use your imagination...biscotti, muffins, scones, etc, whatever!!
~hugs~

Drapery Sconces
So I finally got my dining room done. You can check out dining room make over here.
Anyway, I wasn't pleased with the way my drapery sconces turned out. For one, the drapery doesn't lay the way I envisioned in my head (does it ever) and two....well there is no two. I just didn't like it. What I originally wanted to do was make some v sconces, however, it's time consuming and I wasn't sure about the crown moulding....did I really want to take on that task. Well after much deliberation, I said yes, yes I can do this......
Before
My inspiration
So there you have it.....looks much better painted. And I tell you what.....that crown, was a well you know what to cut and attach. I thought it turned out pretty darn good for my first time! Please tell me how you think I did, or even some insight of something I could of done better. Always open to comments. Thanks for looking. *******Candie*******

My First Official Quilt!
My Husband bought me this amazing sewing machine (Brother SE-400) for christmas and I put it to use while he was home for Ten days. I have quilted before, but nothing like the detail in this one. I used a binding for the first time and stippling.
